SCHOTT is a leading international special-purpose glass and ceramic glass company. An eye-catching presentation platform was needed to present corporate and product information at the opening event of a new factory in Hungary. In order to emphasize the image as global innovation leader and deliver proof of that, SCHOTT looked for innovative digital tools to visualize corporate storytelling.
Ensure offline access of corporate information materials to be presented on mounted iPads. Present product and marketing collateral in an engaging way. Create information architecture that reflects technology and business values. Visualize international outreach and business activity of SCHOTT. Implement assets such as videos, PowerPoint and PDF files. Provide easy-to-use content management to enable continuous adaptation of content for future events.
- Develop an offline app
- Implement on-brand zooming user interface design
- Provide content management feature to integrate and edit assets such as PPT, videos and PDFs
- Roll out for tablet (iOS)
The 2VizCon®-own authoring tool, the so-called DevKit (Development Kit), was used to implement the zooming user interface of the app. The DevKit was also essential to upload the first batch of content. An interactive world map, indicating the company’s activities around the globe, was integrated into the user interface.
Information architecture, user interface design and all layout files were provided by 2VizCon license partner KWP, a digital full-service agency.
Developed within two weeks, the SCHOTT corporate presentation app was very well received at the opening event in Hungary.
Installed on various mounted iPads, the app was also used by the CEO for his event presentation. Following the successful introduction and use of the app, SCHOTT continued to use it for other events. Recognizing the strategic potential of 2VizCon® Event, SCHOTT relied on other 2VizCon products, e.g. 2VizCon® Sales, for sales enablement.
An innovative digital storytelling tool for an innovative global market leader: the medium is the message!
